I’m fundraising for the IgA Nephropathy Foundation as part of my Jersey City Half Marathon journey- because research changes lives. 

I was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy in 2022, and since then, learning to manage it has been a huge part of my life. Running this race is my way of turning something heavy into something hopeful — pushing my body, raising awareness, and supporting research that could change the future for people like me.

As Team We Can for IgAN, we’re running, walking, and fundraising to bring visibility to IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) — a rare autoimmune kidney disease that can lead to kidney failure.

The IgA Nephropathy Foundation is the only nonprofit 100% dedicated to supporting IgAN patients and their families through education,

financial aid, mental health support, and groundbreaking research.
