The 2nd Annual Dance for IgAN

Indian Land, Charlotte and surrounding communities, we want to see your dance moves!

Join us for an energy-packed Dance-a-Thon as we come together to raise awareness of IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) and chronic kidney disease in general. Let’s move with purpose—every step, sway, and spin gets us closer to our goal – a cure for IgAN.

When:

• Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026
• 1 – 3 p.m. ET
• Check-in opens at 12:30 p.m.; Dancing starts at 1:30 p.m.!

Indian Land Recreation Center
8286 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, SC 29707

Registration:

• FREE community event! Donations always welcomed!
• Advanced registration is appreciated – we will have refreshments, giveaways, and door prizes.

Here is how you can make a difference:

• Show off your moves (no experience needed) or cheer others on
• Encourage friends, family, co-workers, and others to sponsor you by pledging 25¢, 50¢, or $1 per minute with the goal of moving for the full hour.

Why It Matters:

• This one-hour dance challenge is more than just fun—it’s a movement for hope.
• Funds raised directly support our research initiatives aimed at advancing treatments and finding a cure for IgAN, a rare autoimmune disease that attacks the kidneys. IgAN affects how blood is filtered in the small blood vessels of the kidneys.
• Up to 40% of those diagnosed will eventually need dialysis or a kidney transplant.
